What is Zanaflex?
A drug that is used to treat the spasms, cramping, and tightness of muscles caused by medical problems such as multiple sclerosis, spastic diplegia, back pain or certain other injuries to the spine or central nervous system.
DIRECTIONS:
Tablet- Comes as tablet to take by mouth. Do not split, chew or crush them. The tablet should be swallowed whole and taken with a full glass of water.
Follow the directions on your prescription label carefully, and ask your doctor or pharmacist to explain any part you do not understand. Take Zanaflex exactly as directed.
STORAGE:
- Keep it in its tightly closed container.
- Keep it out of reach of children.
- Store the capsules and tablets at room temperature and away from excess heat and moisture (not in the bathroom).
- Throw away any medication that is outdated or no longer needed. Talk to your pharmacist about the proper disposal of your medication.
WARNING:
Before taking Zanaflex, Advice your Doctor and Pharmacist if you have these following
- If allergic to zanaflex or any other drugs.
- If you have or have ever had kidney or liver disease.
- If you are pregnant, plan to become pregnant or are breast-feeding.
- If you become pregnant while taking Zanaflex, call your doctor immediately.
- If you are having surgery, including dental surgery, tell the doctor or dentist that you are taking zanaflex.
