What is Rozerem?
A drug used to help patients who have sleep-onset insomnia (difficulty falling asleep).
DIRECTIONS:
Tablet - Comes as tablet to take by mouth. Do not split, chew or crush them. The tablets should be swallowed whole and taken with a full glass of water.
Follow the directions on your prescription label carefully, and ask your doctor or pharmacist to explain any part you do not understand.
STORAGE:
- Keep it in its tightly closed container.
- Keep it out of reach of children.
- Store the capsules and tablets at room temperature and away from excess heat and moisture (not in the bathroom).
- Throw away any medication that is outdated or no longer needed. Talk to your pharmacist about the proper disposal of your medication.
WARNING:
Before taking Rozerem, Advice your Doctor and Pharmacist if you have these following
- If allergic to rozerem or any other medications.
- If you are taking prescription and nonprescription medications, vitamins, nutritional supplements, and herbal products.
- If you have or have ever had chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD, damage to the lungs that makes breathing difficult), sleep apnea (breathing stops for a short time during sleep), depression or liver disease.
- If you are pregnant, plan to become pregnant, or are breast-feeding.
- If you become pregnant while taking rozerem, advice your doctor.
- Avoid driving or operating any machinery while the drug is in effect.
- Avoid drinking alcoholic beverages while taking this medication.
