What is Cyclobenzaprine?
A drug that is used as skeletal muscle relaxant, central nervous system (CNS) depressant. It is also used as pain reliever and discomfort caused by strains, sprains, and other muscle injuries.
DIRECTIONS:
Tablet - Comes as tablet to take by mouth. Do not split, chew or crush them. The tablet should be swallowed whole and taken with a full glass of water.
Do not take this drug for more than 3 weeks without talking to your doctor. Follow the directions on your prescription label carefully, and ask your doctor or pharmacist to explain any part you do not understand. Take Cyclobenzaprine exactly as directed.
STORAGE:
- Keep it in its tightly closed container.
- Keep it out of reach of children.
- Store the capsules and tablets at room temperature and away from excess heat and moisture (not in the bathroom).
- Throw away any medication that is outdated or no longer needed. Talk to your pharmacist about the proper disposal of your medication.
WARNING:
Before taking Cyclobenzaprine, Advice your Doctor and Pharmacist if you have these following
- If allergic reactions to cyclobenzaprine or any other drugs.
- If you are taking any other prescription and nonprescription drugs within the last 2 weeks, especially medications for depression, seizures, allergies, coughs or colds, MAO inhibitors, sedatives, sleeping pills, tranquilizers and vitamins.
- If you have overactive thyroid gland, heart disease, glaucoma or difficulty urinating.
-Avoid alcoholic beverages while taking this drug.
