What is Celebrex?
A non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used in the treatment of osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, acute pain, painful menstruation and menstrual symptoms and to reduce numbers of colon and rectum polyps in patients with familial adenomatous polyposis.
DIRECTIONS:
Capsule - Comes as capsule to take by mouth. Do not split, chew, or crush them. The capsule should be swallowed whole and taken with a full glass of water.
Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure if you need to take your medication with food.
STORAGE:
- Keep it in its tightly closed container.
- Keep it out of reach of children.
- Store the capsules and tablets at room temperature and away from excess heat and moisture (not in the bathroom).
- Throw away any medication that is outdated or no longer needed. Talk to your pharmacist about the proper disposal of your medication.
WARNING:
Before taking Celebrex, Advice your Doctor and Pharmacist if you have these following
- If allergic to celebrex or any other drugs.
- If you are taking other prescription and nonprescription medications, vitamins, nutritional supplements, and herbal products.
- If you also have frequent stuffed or runny nose or nasal polyps (swelling of the lining of the nose), swelling of the hands, arms, feet, ankles or lower legs or liver or kidney disease.
- If you have kidney or liver disease.
- If you are pregnant, especially if you are in the last few months of your pregnancy, you plan to become pregnant, or you are breast-feeding.
- If you become pregnant while taking celebrex advice your doctor.
