What is Buspar
A drug used for treatment of anxiety disorders or in the short-term treatment of symptoms of anxiety. It is considered to have a significantly lower addiction potential compared to other drugs.
DIRECTIONS:
Tablet - Comes as tablet to take by mouth. Do not split, chew or crush them. The tablets should be swallowed whole and taken with a full glass of water.
It usually is taken two or three times a day. Follow the directions on your prescription label carefully, and ask your doctor or pharmacist to explain any part you do not understand. Take buspar exactly as directed. Do not take more or less of it or take it more often than prescribed by your doctor.
STORAGE:
- Keep it in its tightly closed container.
- Keep it out of reach of children.
- Store the tablets at room temperature and away from excess heat and moisture (not in the bathroom).
- Throw away any medication that is outdated or no longer needed. Talk to your pharmacist about the proper disposal of your medication.
WARNING:
Before taking Buspar, Advice your Doctor and Pharmacist if you have these following
- If allergic to buspar or any other drugs.
- If you are taking other prescription and nonprescription medication.
- If you have or have ever had kidney or liver disease, history of alcohol or drug abuse.
- If you are pregnant, plan to become pregnant or breast-feeding.
- If you become pregnant while taking buspar advice your doctor.
- If you are having surgery including dental surgery, advice your doctor or dentist that you are taking buspar.
- If you have other medical conditions that your doctor and pharmacist needs to know.
