What is Bupropion HCL?
An antidepressant drug. It is also used to treat ADHD (Attention Deficit Disorder), bipolar depression, chronic fatigue syndrome, cocaine addiction, nicotine addiction and lower back pain.
DIRECTIONS:
Tablet - Comes as tablet to take by mouth. Do not split, chew, or crush them. The tablets should be swallowed whole and taken with a full glass of water.
Follow the directions on your prescription label carefully, and ask your doctor or pharmacist to explain any part you do not understand. Take bupropion hcl exactly as directed. Do not take more or less of it or take it more often than prescribed by your doctor.
STORAGE:
- Keep it in its tightly closed container.
- Keep it out of reach of children.
- Store the capsules and tablets at room temperature and away from excess heat and moisture (not in the bathroom).
- Throw away any medication that is outdated or no longer needed. Talk to your pharmacist about the proper disposal of your medication.
WARNING:
Before taking Bupropion HCL, Advice your Doctor and Pharmacist if you have these following
- If allergic to bupropion hcl or any other medications.
-If you are taking other prescription and nonprescription medications, vitamins, nutritional supplements, herbal and other products.
- If you or anyone in your family has or has ever had depression, bipolar disorder (mood that changes from depressed to abnormally excited), mania (frenzied, abnormally excited mood) or if you or anyone in your family has thought about or attempted suicide.
- If you are pregnant, plan to become pregnant, or are breast-feeding.
- If you become pregnant while taking bupropion hcl, advice your doctor.
